Who ARE All These People? A Breakdown of the LARGE Democratic Field: Part 1 Senator Elizabeth Warren and Former Vice President Joe Biden

Twenty-three Democratic nominees are running for President of the United States. Only 20 qualified for the upcoming debates on June 26 and June 27.

Most candidates have very little name recognition. The ones that do have name recognition are the ones who started off with a strong story. Just because you have name recognition does NOT mean a candidate has the best online presence.

How do we learn about candidates? Usually, through the media coverage. But, the internet allows the electorate to interact with the candidate. The internet allows the candidate to control their message. Two-way communication can occur. The internet allows candidates to read responses to their proposals and allows us to say yay or nay to what we think about their political stance.

Candidates’ campaigns have to tell their story. Their online opportunity is important to connect to the electorate in new and innovative ways. The internet is where people can accidentally find them.

The 23 Democratic candidates must have a website that lays out their story. Their personal message, as well as their political message. So, which candidates has the most informative campaign web site? Let’s find out!

Every day until the debate, I will post an analysis of two candidates online presence.
