Four Saturday mornings I have spent with Oprah. In February, when she was here in Dallas we learned the mantra I Can. I Will. Watch Me. Just a few weeks later our world shut down. Motivation? What Motivation? More obstacles. More questions than answers. Then Oprah offered up this four week webinar. *Focus *Connect *Adapt *Commit Each week was a different focus and built on what we learned at her tour stop in Dallas. After I saw Oprah live, I had this notebook personalized with the mantra I am using this year. So I decided to use it as a journal for all that I’m learning. I guess I could call it my growth journal. Or inspirational journal. @oprah says when you learn— teach. That hit home. My entire career has been about learning and teaching. It’s what I did in my broadcast journalism career and what I do as a professor. I’m sharing some nuggets of wisdom that I’ve learned in these four weeks. Some have been aha moments. Some made me dive deep into working on my intentions and purpose. When I was at my best— I was eating well- I was exercising more and I was content. Now I committed myself to tracking again (yes losing instead of gaining) and now new HIIT crosstrainers came in the mail— I have decided 2020 will be a year that I finish my book and I align all my goals— spiritual, professional, and health. The better I feel the more open I will be to receiving. Thank you @maryannakimoto and @mhkatz73 for going through the four weeks with me and helping me achieve my goals as I am dedicated to helping you achieve yours. Let’s do this! #OprahandWW #YourLifeinfocus @ww.now
